Individual therapy is between one client and typically one therapist.
We use a collaborative approach to help clients explore the reasons that brought them to our office. Common reasons include depression, anxiety, trauma, life events, stress, problematic behaviors, and anything else causing distress for the individual.
We don’t give advice but we do help individuals process feelings and identify underlying causes of issues. The end goal is to help the client feel better and live a more fulfilling life. We provide individuals with the tools needed to function in a healthier manner and we show clients how to implement the use of the tools.
